My work is about sandy places, daydreaming and contemplation. Although traces of my many travels echo in my paintings, my inspiration comes from the region I chose to live in with my family : Arrábida, near the Rio Sado Estuary, a verdant land of beauty and charm, home to the sun and the lights and shadows that play on the mountains and the sea. My other favourite place is Meco Beach and La Jolla by the Sea -USA https://lajollabythesea.com
